About Us
In April 2002, four professionals, together with an individual who is deaf, established an organization upon realizing that a great number of people who are deaf in Philippine society are unable to lead productive and full lives due to limited accessibility of services that can maximize their potentials. These five concerned people envisioned a Center that would bring together deaf and hearing members of society to work and play together.
A mission statement was articulated in September 2003 which has been revisited and has served as the groundwork for the course that the organization is taking. Now, on its twentieth year, the people behind LINK Center, together with the staff, remain steadfast to their commitment of providing an integrated support program, especially for those who cannot afford such services, to help people who are deaf develop into more mature, productive, and confident members of society.
