About Us
LINK Center for the Deaf, Inc. was established in April 2002 by a group of committed professionals and a leader from the Deaf community who shared a common belief: that people who are deaf should have equitable access to opportunities that allow them to grow, participate fully in society, and live with dignity and independence. LINK Center was envisioned as a space where Deaf and hearing individuals could learn, work, and collaborate in an environment grounded in respect, understanding, and inclusion.
From its founding, LINK Center has been a service-oriented organization dedicated to providing integrated support programs that address the educational, social, and developmental needs of people who are deaf—particularly those with limited access to resources. Through its programs and initiatives, the organization seeks to build skills, strengthen self-confidence, and promote lifelong learning and productivity.
Beyond direct services, LINK Center actively works to raise public awareness and foster greater appreciation of the abilities, contributions, and rights of the Deaf community. By partnering with families, institutions, and communities, the Center continues to break down barriers, challenge misconceptions, and help create a more inclusive society where people who are deaf are recognized as capable, empowered, and valued members.
